What’s in it?

Tallow & Shea

Avocado Infused

Imperial LUXX seal

Simple ingredients. Exceptional sourcing. Intentional preparation.

Tallow & Shea begins with rich, grass-fed tallow and African shea butter, then layers in carefully selected botanical oils and herbs from around the world.

Organic nettle leaf and Thai pandan leaf are slowly infused into our warm tallow-and-shea base, allowing the fats to capture beneficial oil-compatible compounds from the botanicals before the plant material is carefully filtered away.

We finish the balm with cold-pressed tamanu and avocado oils chosen for their luxurious feel, naturally rich composition, and beautiful affinity for the skin.

No unnecessary fillers. No shortcuts. Just purposeful ingredients selected for beautiful skin.

01

Grass-fed tallow

The foundation.

At the heart of Tallow & Shea is pure beef tallow made with suet from grass-fed, grass-finished cattle.

Rich and deeply emollient, tallow creates the luxurious, protective texture that makes this balm so satisfying on dry skin.

Our tallow is carefully purified without bleach or chemical deodorizers, preserving the simple character of this traditional skin-conditioning fat.

Why we chose itNaturally rich. Exceptionally conditioning. Beautifully simple.

02

African shea butter

Rich, traditional nourishment.

Our African shea butter is traditionally handmade in Ghana through a women’s cooperative, carrying generations of knowledge from their hands into our formula.

Raw and unrefined, it retains the naturally rich character of the shea nut. Traditional preparation without chemical extraction preserves the qualities we value in this beautiful butter.

Its creamy texture complements our tallow, bringing softness, luxurious glide, and a velvety finish to Tallow & Shea.

Why we chose itRich moisture. Traditional craftsmanship. A beautiful ingredient with a human story.

03

Tamanu oil

A remarkable botanical oil.

This is not an ordinary carrier oil.

We use Calophyllum inophyllum seed oil, traditionally known as Tamanu or Foraha — a distinctive botanical oil valued for generations in tropical skin-care traditions.

Our tamanu is 100% pure, organic, unrefined and cold-pressed from the seeds, helping preserve its naturally occurring fatty acids and characteristic plant compounds.

Naturally rich in omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids, our tamanu is carefully selected through a renowned botanical house in the South of France known for exceptional natural oils and plant extracts.

Why we chose itA rare botanical oil with an extraordinary composition and a long tradition of skin use.

04

Organic avocado oil

Cold-pressed from sun-kissed Kenyan avocados.

Our deep green avocado oil begins with certified organic, sun-kissed avocados grown in Kenya.

It is virgin, unrefined and cold-pressed, allowing the oil to retain its naturally rich character rather than being stripped through heavy refining.

Its luxurious texture complements tallow beautifully while helping give Tallow & Shea its smooth, elegant skin feel.

Why we chose itLush. Nutrient-rich. Naturally green. Beautiful on skin.

05

Organic stinging nettle leaf

An old-world botanical with a new role.

We use organic Urtica dioica leaf, harvested just before flowering, then dried, cut and sifted.

Our nettle is certified organic, non-irradiated and free of artificial ingredients.

Rather than simply leaving dried herbs in the finished balm, we slowly infuse the nettle into our warm tallow-and-shea base, allowing the fats to capture beneficial oil-compatible compounds from the plant.

The nettle is then carefully filtered away, leaving its botanical contribution behind in the infused fats.

Why we chose itA purposeful botanical addition to an already extraordinary fat-based balm.

06

Organic Thai pandan leaf

From a family farm in Thailand.

Our pandan comes from a small family-run organic farm in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, established in 2007. The leaves are carefully grown, harvested, dried and milled into a rich green botanical powder.

Pandan is a distinctive tropical plant with a beautiful heritage and naturally vibrant character.

We slowly infuse the pandan into our warm tallow-and-shea base, allowing the fats to capture beneficial oil-compatible compounds and some of the plant’s naturally beautiful character.

The plant material is then carefully filtered away before the balm is finished.

Why we chose itA unique botanical with a beautiful heritage — and something you won’t find in every jar of skin cream.

Intentional preparation

Our botanical infusion

We don’t simply throw powdered herbs into the jar.

Our nettle leaf and pandan leaf are gently infused into melted tallow and shea at controlled temperatures.

The botanicals are given time to steep in the warm fats, helping draw their oil-compatible botanical compounds into the base.

The infusion is then carefully filtered — first to remove the larger plant material and again to capture the finer botanical particles.

Only after the infusion is complete do we finish the balm with our selected tamanu and avocado oils.

Infuse. Filter. Finish.

It’s a slower process.
We think it’s worth it.

Every ingredient earns its place

The complete formula
